Säfstaholm Castle gained national recognition in 2003 with the exhibition “She Has Talent – Unfortunately”, which highlighted female artists of the 19th century.
At that time, it was the 15th exhibition held at the castle. The summer exhibitions celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2013 and continued until 2016 when Lars Furborg retired.
